Beautiful wig..now to step into the Hair Alternative World...
Thanks for helping me on the journey.
My opinions below are based on comparing BT to my many JR and RW wigs I've worn over the years. First I want to say that BT Oxford is my 3rd BT from the City collection. Newport and ?…sorry, can’t remember the 3rd right now.
I was really excited to get Oxford but totally bummed once I tried her on. She is extremely thin on top. I love low density but this beyond low density! But of course I didn’t realize this until I combed out the zigzag part which makes it non-returnable!
Fiber on all 3 styles separate really easily so I’m continuously having to run a comb through them. I’d say they are high maintenance while wearing them.
The fiber is also very shinny (plastic looking). I wear med - the dark browns. I applied dry shampoo but as soon as you start combing throughout the day then the shine reappears. Of course after you wash them several times the shine might go away?
All 3 styles face flop and it’s the worst I’ve ever experienced.
I’ve applied heat, used a steamer and clipped back overnight etc etc.
I’ve also tried some products like Piece Out but not a big fan because the fiber gets gummy and I’m very careful how much I use.
So overall extremely disappointed with BT for daily wear. Bottom line - waisted $$$ 😔 👎
