RETURN POLICY

 

Our goal is your satisfaction! If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, you are welcome to return your piece for an EXCHANGE or STORE CREDIT. We want to help you find the right wig and will work with you to do exactly that. We have hundreds of wigs for you to choose from and are certain we have the right one for you! So to that end, we do not offer refunds - exchanges and store credit only. Please know that we do charge you a 10% return handling fee with a minimum charge of $10 and you pay the cost of return shipping.  

Please see below for items that are "Eligible" for return. We do not sell refurbished or previously owned products (with the exception of items in our Clearance Section).

ELIGIBLE RETURNS

We accept returns on all eligible products. A product eligible for return or exchange includes all products that meet the following criteria: 

  1. Request for Return or Exchange is made within 10 days of receipt of merchandise.
  2. Packaging and product are not altered in any way.
  3. Hair must not be shaken out or brushed.
  4. Item has not been worn (except for trying on - wear a wig cap please).
  5. Odor-Free (Any odors on the product will render the product ineligible for return or exchange).
  6. Tags and original packaging are intact.
  7. Item and / or packaging is not damaged in any way.
  8. Customer pays all return shipping fees.

RESTOCKING FEES

Wdo charge you a 10% return handling fee with a minimum charge of $10 + the cost of return shipping. This is charged per item, and not per order.  A restocking fee will apply to each item returned. Once the applicable restocking fees are applied, any balance remaining will be emailed to you in the form of a store credit / gift card.

We will process your refund within five business days (Monday-Friday) from the date we receive your item at the warehouse.

If your product is received by our warehouse and determined ineligible for exchange or return, we will email you the option of:

  1. Returning the item(s) to you at your cost
  2. Donating the item(s) to the American Cancer Society (receipt of donation available upon request).

Ineligible item(s) will be automatically donated 30 days after receipt.

HOW TO RETURN YOUR ITEM

We are in the process of setting up a more automated return system. Until that is ready to roll-out please follow this process:

#1 RULE OF RETURNS: We are fully expecting any return sent in to us to be indistinguishable from the new product that arrived at your door.

To return an item, please repackage your item(s) in their original packaging. Item(s) must have tags intact (never removed) and have not been worn, brushed, shaken out or damaged in any way. Original packaging that the item came in must not be damaged (wig or topper box included). As noted above, a product eligible for return includes all products that meet the following criteria:

  1. Packaging and product are not altered in any way.
  2. Hair must not be shaken out or brushed.
  3. Item has not been worn (except for trying on - wear a wig cap please).
  4. Odor-Free (Any odors on the product will render the product ineligible for return or exchange).
  5. Tags and original packaging are intact.
  6. Item and / or packaging is not damaged in any way.

Email us at customerservice@shirleyswigshoppe.com to request a return authorization within five days of receiving your merchandise. Please include your name, order # (if available) and reason for return.

We will send you an email with instructions for your return and the return address to send your item(s) back to. Return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer. You will have 30 days from the day you received your wig to send it back to us. NOTE: You must notify us within 10 days of receiving your wig that you would like to return/exchange it. You will have 30 days from receiving it to get it postmarked and on it's way back to us.

Please add customerservice@shirleyswigshoppe.com to your email address book and "white list" to ensure you receive our emails. 

Once your item is received by the warehouse, it will be inspected, and a STORE CREDIT / GIFT CARD will be issued to you within five business days (Monday-Friday), minus any applicable restocking fees as noted above. We work hard to get these credits processed as quickly as possible; however, in some cases it may take longer, depending on the manufacturer(s) return volume. We will notify you if we experience any added delays.
