Shirley's Wig Shoppe Return Policy
- Requests for returns must be made within 15 days of the delivery date provided by the shipping carrier. Requests may only be made via an email sent to customer service.
- Wigs cannot be worn. You may try the item on. Please use a wig cap when trying items on.
- Items must be free of all odors (cigarette smoke, perfumes, hair products, air fresheners/diffusers, body odor, etc.)
- Items and packaging must be free of oils/makeup
- Items must be in their original packaging. All packaging materials must be included, tags must remain attached.
- Return must be free of all hair products.
- Return must be postmarked by date given to you. You may request additional time if needed. A return received passed the postmarked date will be assessed a 15% restock fee if you didn't contact us for additional time
*Your return requests may be denied if you have an excessive number of returns per month.
*Your return request may be denied if you are requesting multiple returns per order. If multiple returns are approved for an order, a store credit will be issued.
Non-Returnable Products
- Any item that doesn’t meet the requirements listed under “Eligibility for Returns”
- Any item with damage that wasn’t disclosed to us.
- All final sale, open box, discontinued, and clearance items.
- Any item listed as Final Sale, No Returns, No Exchanges and/or Open Box
- All Human Hair products
- Hats with Hair, Ponytails, Clip In Pieces, Hairpieces/Toppers (see listings)
- All hair care/styling products and tools
- Travel/Storage bags
- Snoozies
- Tumblers
- Jewelry
- Gift Cards
Return Process
- Initiate a Return: Contact Customer Service. Please provide your order number and details about the item you would like to return.
- Return Authorization: Our team will provide you with a return authorization and instructions on how and where to send your return.
- Ship Your Return: Pack the item securely in its original packaging and include all packaging materials. Place re-packaged item in a cardboard shipping box. Use a trackable method to send the item back to us. Return must be sent by the date given to you by Customer Service.
Refunds
- Once we receive your return item, we will inspect it. This process may take up to 15 business days.
- If your return passes inspection, we will issue a store credit. A store credit gift card will be sent to the email address you provided during the ordering process.
- Store credit gift cards do not expire.
- If your order included a shipping charge and/or Route insurance charge, it is non-refundable.
- Please contact customer service if you need a refund to your original method of payment. If approved, a 15% restocking fee will apply. Returns of more than one product on an order will only be issued a store credit. HIM & WIG USA products will receive a store credit only. All hairpieces/toppers will receive a store credit only.
- We are unable to change a refund/store credit once processed.
⚠️ UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS WILL BE SUBJECT TO A 25% RESTOCKING FEE OR MAY BE RETURNED TO SENDER. UNAUTHORIZED RETURNS WILL RECEIVE A STORE CREDIT ONLY.
Exchanges

Notice: Policy Update
Starting December 7, 2024, we will no longer process exchanges. For approved returns, store credit will be issued. You can then use the store credit to purchase the item you wish to exchange for.We appreciate your understanding.
Shipping Costs
- You will be responsible for shipping costs for returning your item. All shipping costs are non-refundable.
Damaged or Defective Items
- If you believe you received a defective or damaged item, please contact us immediately (within 5 days of delivery date provided by shipping carrier.) Please include photos of the item that show the issues.
- Items with possible defects may need to be shipped to the manufacturer for inspection. This process may take 15-20 business days.
- If the item is deemed defective by the manufacturer, a full refund will be issued to your original method of payment.
- If the item is not deemed defective by the manufacturer, you will receive a refund to your original method of payment. A 15% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund.
