I almost returned this one. I have a petite size head (21" circumference, 12" ear to ear, 12" front to back). This wig is huge on me. I had to make an exaggerated adjustment by criss crossing the velcro adjusters. I also did not like the way the center part looked on me with this one, so I moved the front hairs over to look like a right part. Why did I keep this one you ask? The fibers are light and soft, the style is really easy and doesn't look too done up. I wanted something for every day wear and I didn't want the maintenance of the heat friendly fibers. The color I chose was Golden Sandstone and I was more than pleased with the color. I tend to prefer more ashy colors since my skin is starting to really redden the older I get and any yellows tend to bring this out more. I would say the color is somewhere in between JR Shaded praline and Shaded Mocha. I really did not care for all the permatese, but it wasn't as bad as my JR Heidi which is too much hair for my petite head IMO. Also, I found this to be much less shiny than my other non heat friendly synthetics. The first photo is straight out of the box with the center part. The second is after I played with it a bit to make it more suitable for me. This color is really gorgeous and changes a lot with lighting, but I did not get any of the yellow tones that make me look like a watermelon :) If Envy made this with zero permatese and made it in a smaller cap size (this is the largest one in my closet, larger than any Belletress I own) it would honestly be perfect.
I have ordered Charlotte in Sahara blonde and unfortunately this wig has a lot of flyaways, very shinny and the cap is smaller than other average caps (from forehead to the nape). It's a shame cuz I really liked this style as it doesn't rub the clothes. This is my first Envy wig and probably my last as the cap is too small for me.
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
Soft and beautiful!!
Little Permatease
But manageable
Envy has made their lace much softer and the root is much improved, not too dark, I got the champagne shadow and it is very similar to sparkling champagne, this one is a beautiful, I am extremely happy with it.
